The guidelines consist of two <br />documents and address: <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />. How covered entities, or other entities seeking CWCB approval of their efforts, will submit and <br />receive written comments and approval from the Office regarding their Water Conservation Plans. <br />. How the Office of Water Conservation and Drought Planning (Office) and the CWCB will administer <br />the Water Conservation Plan Development Fund which is available to eligible entities beginning in <br />July 2005. <br /> <br />Board Meetina Aaenda <br />The Board will be presented with an overview of the two sets of guidelines, highlighting the following: <br /> <br />. Requirements ofHB 04-1365 (~37-60-126 C.R.S.) <br />. Plan review and approval processes <br />. Contested Plan Review procedures <br />. Eligibility, evaluation, ranking and award of Water Conservation Plan Development Fund moneys <br />. Definition of Office responsibilities <br /> <br />A PowerPoint slide presentation with the Board Workshop slides is attached for your review prior to the <br />meeting's agenda item. We have also attached a copy of the Final Draft Guidelines and HB 04-1365 for <br />your reference and review. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Model Water Conservation Plan <br />As part of the Office's attempts to address the Board defined intent to increase meaningful water <br />conservation in the state, the Office is in the process of developing a "Model Water Conservation Plan <br />Development Guidance Document" that will be posted on the CWCB website. The guidance document is <br />intended to be a "how-to" guide for water conservation planning. It will provide instructions and templates <br />for development of water conservation plans, in general, and a Model Plan, in particular that will fulfill the <br />Flood Protection.
