Colorado River Basin Director's Report <br />Tape 1 : Start/Stop: 3803 - 3999 <br />Action: Eric Kuhn reported information about the various programs involving the <br />Colorado River Basin. Information item; no action taken. <br /> <br />8b. Gunnison River Basin Director's Report <br />Tape 1: Start/Stop: 3999-4214 <br />Action: Keith Catlin reported that the planning meetings for the Gunnison River <br />Basin were well attended. Those attending the meetings demonstrated <br />interest about the issues and participated in the discussions. Information <br />item; no action taken. <br /> <br />8c. San Juan/Dolores River Basin Director's Report <br />Tape 1: Start/Stop 4214 - 4559 <br />Action: Don Schwindt reported for this basin. He thanked the CWCB staff for the <br />planning meetings conducted in his area and stated that he felt the <br />communication process encouraged by these meetings was very <br />important. Information item; no action taken. <br /> <br />8d. YampafWhite River Basin Director's Report <br />Tape 1: Start/Stop: 4560-5187 <br />Action: David Smith reported for the YampafWhite River Basin. He doesn't feel that <br />the one meeting scheduled for Hayden will be sufficient for both Craig and <br />Steamboat. There are other issues in his area regarding water storage and <br />sport fishing that were discussed. This was an information item and no <br />action was taken. <br /> <br />8e. Division 7 Federal Reserved Rights <br />Tape 1: Start/Stop: 5188 - 5768 <br />Action: Carol Angel reiterated that the comments about the Idaho settlement <br />were also applicable to Division 7. David Nickum of Trout Unlimited <br />addressed the Board. Trout Unlimited moved to intervene in the Division <br />7 lawsuit and that intervention was granted. Trout Unlimited would like to <br />be included in the negotiations. The Ute Mountain Ute Tribe would also <br />like to intervene in the case but it was not clear their purpose for doing so. <br />Additional discussion was more appropriate for Executive Session. This <br />was an information item and no action was taken. <br /> <br />9.
