The motion wa seconded by David Meyring, and approved <br />unanimously (9-0). <br /> <br />(- <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />27. South Platte River Issues Update <br /> <br />27a. Negotiations with Wyoming and Nebraska concerning endangered species protection <br />Tape 4, Start/Stop: 2220 - 2560 <br />Action: No action was taken. <br /> <br />27b. Denver Urban South Plate River Corridor Project <br />Tape 4, Start/Stop: 1076 - 2219 <br />27b & c together <br />Action: David Harrison made a motion that by resolution the Board indicate its <br />interest in participating with others and moving forward in an affirmative <br />way to try and develop an appropriate instream flow management program <br />for the Platte through Denver. The motion was seconded by Leo Eisel and <br />approved unanimously (9-0). <br /> <br />28. <br /> <br />Rio Grande Issues Update <br />Tape 4, Start/Stop: <br />Action: No action was taken. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />2560 - 2850 <br /> <br />29. Colorado River Compact Issues Update <br />Tape 4, Start/Stop: 2850 - 3315 <br />Action: David Harrison recused himself from this item. Leo Eisel made a motion <br />that a letter be drafted by Chuck Lile and Jim Lochhead and sent to Larry <br />Anderson, indicating that Colorado would be interested in talking with the <br />Upper Basin States regarding Utah's proposal, and participate in such <br />discussion in the Upper Basin, and clearly indicating to Utah that they do <br />not support any leasing of Upper Basin apportionment to the Lower Basin, <br />and that the 7/10 process is the key area where problems should be worked <br />through. The motion was seconded by David Smith, and approved <br />unanimously (9-0). <br /> <br />30. Colorado River Endangered Fishes Recovery Program (RIPs) <br /> <br />30a.
