(The meeting was reconvened at 1:15 p.m., Chairman Kroeger presiding.)

MR. KROEGER: I would like to call this meeting back to'gether. We
were just about to complete the preliminary discussions on the Eagle
County situation. Is there a desire of the board in regard to this?

I

MR. JACKSON: .Mr. Chairman, I ~ould like to move that we hold the
preliminary r~commendations--I think there are three pages--on Eagle
County until the next meeting and afford the Eagle County people a
chance to get .their specifics in.

MR. FURNEAUX: I second the motion.

(Upon b~ing put to a voice vote, the motion was carried with one
dissenting ,vote.)

MR. SPARKS: It goes over to the next meeting anyway.

MR. KROEGER: It comes in as final, though, at the next meeting. Was
it your desire to have it come in as preliminary at the next meeting?

MR. JACKSON: Yes...

MR. GORMLEY: Th.e Eagle County commissioners were very specific to
me that they wanted to come here and appear. On the assumption that
it was the weather that stopped them in that regard, I would like to
have them have their say, if that is possible.

MR. SPARKS: They can be heard next time in any event, because we are
not going to consider it until the next meeting.

MR. GORMLEY: Well, I have the feeling that they did not have a clear
picture of the implications. I am sure it has been exposed.to them
over a period of time, but in this particular regard, there seems to
be quite a bit of concern on their part.

MR. SPARKS: As I understand it then, we would have it up for
preliminary again.

I

MR. JACKSON:

That was the understanding, yes, sir.

All right, then, we will take 'up tne two situations
River in Grand County. Are there any comments that
regard to. this?

in
need

MR. KROEGER:
Williams Fork
to be made in

.MR. COZIER: I am an attorney from Granby, Colorado, and I am appearing
here. today representing the Board of County Commissioners of Grand

-35-
