The <br />cost of printing the report will be borne by the Colorado De- <br />velopment Councll except that the Oolorado Water Conservation <br />Board and the Bureau of Reclamatlon are provi41ng certaln maps <br />and graphs which wl11 be lncluded. I <br />I may say- that lt has been the hope, of the director at <br />least, ever sll'loe the Board was set up that we mlght get out a <br />oomparatively brlef report on Colorado water resources and the <br />problems lncldent to the development and utillzatlol'l of those <br />reSOUrces. We haveglven lt some thought and. much material <br />has been prepared. It would constltute an lnventory of these <br />P8sources, present uses of water, and ln41cation of the alze <br />of potential development. It would deal wlth the program for <br />underground waters and many other phases of water development. <br />However, even tlme we begb to thin of such a report and <br />what it would lnclude,we found that 1t was unw1se to make <br />the report because wed1dnlt have any notion of how much water <br />was avallable fol' Ooloradots use from the Colorado River.
