Mr. <br />Rogers was named to succeed L. Ward Bannhter of Denver, and Mr. McConnick was <br />named to succeed Silmon Smith of Grand Junction. <br /> <br />'fhe Board proceeded with the selection of a vice chainnan and a secretary. <br /> <br />Mr. Hinderlider nominated George Bailey for vice chairman. The nomination <br />was seconded by John Beaty, who moved that nominations be closed and Mr. Bailey <br />be declared elected. <br /> <br />On vote, the motion carried, and George Bailey was <br />declared elected as vice chairman of the Board. <br /> <br />Mr. Beaty nominated the Director to serve as secretary of the Board, Mr. <br />Cross seconded the nomination, and moved that nominations be closed and Judge <br />Stone declared elected. <br /> <br />Upon being seconded by Mr. Hinderlider, the motion <br />was put and carried unanimOUSly, and Judge Stone was de- <br />clared elected as secretary of the Board. <br /> <br />Governor WaJ.ter W, Johnson, Chairman of the Board, ,:joined. the meeting and <br />assumed his position as presiding officer, <br /> <br />Miss Ann Landy of the Attorney General's office appeared and administered <br />the official oaths of office to the newly-appointed members of the Board - Mr. <br />Pughe, Mr. Rogers and Mr. McCormick. <br /> <br />- - <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />
