Knowing the route that other reports hil.vetaken, <br />lt wouldn't be ant101pated that 1t would be ava1lable pr10r to, <br />oh, maybe sOlllet1me 1n Ootober; maybe September or October. <br />Now, beginning last late summer, we undertook a s1mllar <br />study on the Colorado River above Grand Junot10n. We now have <br />on that work' qu1te a large statt. We got 1n a small amount of <br />work 1n the tall months. We had to discont1nue some of that <br />work dur1ng the winter because of a large part of 1t be1ng 1n <br />high alt1tudes, and the force1s now baok on the job again. <br />I . think at the present t1me there 18 1n the ne1ghborhood - of, <br />oh, some 30 men engaged ln that work. We are malt1ng every <br />effort posslble to accelerate that study and work that up <br />Just as fast as 110 1s humanly poss1ble to do 1t. <br />Now, as to the other 1nvest1gat1ons 1n Grand Junotion, <br />we had hoped to finlsh up 8. report on the Sm1th-Fork projeot <br />and have that f1n1shed by July. Some ot our personnel was <br />
