<br />Meeting was called to order by Chris Wallrioh at 10:45 a.m.
<br />Thursday, February 1, 1940,

<br />Direotor Stone stated that the principal item of business to
<br />come before the meeting was the matter of arranging for the payment of
<br />Colorado's share of the administration of the Rio Grande Compact. In
<br />the absence of M, C. Hinderlider, Colorado's representativ~ on the Rio
<br />Grlll1de Board for administration of the Compaot, C, C. Hezma.lhaleh, -~
<br />Deputy State Engineer, appeared and presented a statement oonoerning
<br />the expense involved for the Rio Grande Compact administration.
<br />
<br />Discussion ensued followed by motion by Attorney General
<br />Rogers, seoonded by Vena. Pointer and :Mr. Foster, that the Boarcl. approve
<br />and allow the expenditure of $1433 from the fund of the ColoradO Water
<br />Conservation Board for the purpose of paying Colorado's share of
<br />administering the Rio Grande Compact tor the calendar year to be
<br />distributed as follGWSS .716,50 tram. the budget period ending June 30,
<br />1940 and $716,50 trom July 1, 1940 to June 30, 1941.

<br />After further discussion the motion was "nAnimously adopted.

<br />It was moved by Mr. Foster and seoonded by :Mr. Dille that the
<br />minutes of August 16, 1939, be approved.
<br />
<br />Motion was duly passed and adopted.
