<br />COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD MEETING MINUTES: <br />Two Rivers Plaza <br />Grand Junction, Colorado <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />May 18, 1979 <br /> <br />The Colorado. Water Conservation Board met, pursuant to notice, at <br />9:10 a.m., Frederick V. Kroeger, Vice Chairman, presiding. <br /> <br />MR. KROEGER: I would like to call the meeting to order, please. <br /> <br />Ben Stapleton is not going to be able to be here this morning, so I <br />will preside. The first item on the agenda is the approval of the <br />minutes of the January 31st meeting. These were mailed out, and you <br />have had an opportunity to respond. Are there any corrections? <br /> <br />MR., FETCHER: Mr.: Chairman, I have read the minutes, and I would like <br />to compliment Mrs. Scoggin for a super job and move their approval. <br /> <br />THE REPORTER: Thank. you, Mr. Fet.cher. <br /> <br />MR. KROE.GER:, Is there a second? <br /> <br />MR. VANDEMOER:. Second. <br /> <br />MR. KROEGER: All in favor say "aye." (ayes.) Those opposed say <br />"no. ~' (No response.) <br /> <br />The second agenda: item. then' is ,the consideration of the appropriations <br />for the minimum s treamflows " and "we~ have today, after a couple of <br />delays, the. final recommendations on Grand County and the Williams <br />Fork. <br /> <br />Duane, will you be giving a report on that? <br /> <br />MR. HELTON: I can, if it is your preference. <br /> <br />MR. KROEGER: If you would comment, on it, please. It is my under- <br />standing that everything has been worked out. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />MR. HELTON: Yes, sir. Our staff has worked with the Division of <br />Wildlife staff and the-Denver Water, Board staff; and:we,have reached <br />an agreement, copies of which have been made available to you. We <br />heartily recommend.t~at you-adopt the recommendations. <br /> <br />Would you like me to discuss the agreement? c- <br /> <br />MR. KROEGER: Yes. <br />
