Action: A motion was made by David Smith to ratify the staff recommendation
to enter into a settlement with the applicant or, if settlement is not
possible, to proceed to trial in this case. The motion was seconded by
Ray Wright and the motion passed unanimously (6-0).

Action: A motion was made by Ray Wright to authorize the Attorney
General's Office to proceed to trial with this case on January 18th if
it should prove necessary. The motion was seconded by David Smith.
