Steve Sims <br />presented to the Board the issues that have come up. <br />A motion was made by David Harrison that we not get into the case <br />but we do file an amicus brief for the very limited purpose of asking <br />the Supreme Court to avoid unnecessary rulings on interstate and <br />federal law. The motion was seconded by Tommy Thomson and the <br />motion passed unanimously (8-0). <br /> <br />Tyler Martineau recused himself. Ken Salazar was absent. <br /> <br />Tape 6, <br />Action: <br /> <br />Start/Stop 2690 - 2750 <br />A motion was made by Jim Lochhead during the Agenda Item 23 <br />discussion to add a brief statement indicating that section 5 has been <br />eleminated from the rules that is referenced in the Arapahoe County <br />brief.
