<br />COLOAADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD MEETING MINUTES <br />Summit Room, Diplomat Motor Hotel <br />Denver, Colorado <br /> <br />November 13, 1968 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Th$ meeting was called to order by Mr. Stapleton, <br />Chairman. at 10:00 A. M. <br /> <br />MR. STAPLETON: <br /> <br />"We'll call this regularly scheduled <br />meeting of the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board to order. <br /> <br />As you all know, Mr. Hugh E. pickrel <br />of Rocky Ford has been appointed a member <br />of the Colorado Water Conservation BQard. <br />I have a letter from him stating that he <br />has just been hospitalized for major surgery <br />and released Friday, November 8th, to his <br />home. He expresses his regret that he <br />won't be here at this meeting but that he <br />will make every effort to attend future <br />meetings. We will be glad to welcome Mr. <br />Pickrel to the Board at our January meet- <br />ing. <br /> <br />Craig Goodwin's wife has been ill <br />and he was not able to be here today. I <br />would certainly like the record to show <br />that Craig has been one of our most faith- <br />ful attenders at the Board meetings. If <br />it weren't fOr a serious obstacle such as <br />this he would be here today. <br /> <br />I take it that we have no proxies for <br />these two Board members." <br /> <br />MRS.
