I

completed its work there. The apparent low
bid on this work was $272,262 received from
Mile High Drilling Company of Wheatridge,
Colorado. The engineer's estimate was
$253,430.

Repayment contract with the North Fork
Water Conservancy District was amended and
signed October 23rd to provide for a full
lO-year development period on both the Fire
Mountain Canal and Leroux Creek irrigation
blocks.

Under the Bostwick Park Project, the
contractor for Silver Jack Dam has completed
placing compacted backfill around the outlet
works, except for the dome of the gate cham-
ber. Nearly 60 percent of the concrete has
been placed for the spillway inlet and 85
percent for the spillway conduit section.
Concrete placements were started for the
spillway stilling basin during October.
The contractor resumed work on the dam em-
bankment during August and will continue
this work as long as weather will permit
this fall. He plans to mobilize a much
larger earth moving fleet next spring and
to complete the earthfill of the dam during
the next summer season.

On the Collbran project, the contractor
completed installation of new outlet works
and gates on Little Meadows and Lambert
Reservoirs on October 24th. TheBe are two
of the fifteen existing reservoirs used in
regulating Collbran Project power water.

I

Power marketing of the Colorado River
Storage power - the power contracts now in
force with 84 customers call for the delivery
of 425,000 kilowatts of firm power this com-
ing winter and about 800,000 kilowatts during
the summer of 1969. Thus next summer the
purchasers of Storage project power will be
receiving about 80 percent of the capacity
