Mr. Gildersleeve: "I estimated five or six hundred."

Mr. Arnold: (Ryall Engineering Company). "About 582 at
my latest count. It may run about 20 or 30 prints higher.
The price is 60~."

~r. Williams: "Are you going to deliver those on map size
sheets?"

Mr. Arnold: "We assemble the contact prints on an index
sheet and you have all the photographic images and numDers
and you can readily identify any of these project areas."

Mr. Williams: "Do you plan to give the Water board a
mosiac?"

Mr. Arnol:!: "We will give the board the contact prints and
the index, but it won't be a ;nosiac."

Mr. Williams: "Is there any objection to the Water Board
having a title to them--the film prints?"

Mr. Arnold: "We don't object to their having ownership to
them if they care to .pay the price."

Mr. Hezmalhalch: "Does this cover the whole irrigated area?"

Mr. Tipton: "Certain sections."

Mr. Bi.!iley: "Are there any other questions?'''

Mr. Moses: "I move that the contract be,approved as read."

Mr. Crawford: "I second the motion." Motion unani~ously
carried.

Mr. Bailey: "The next item is (5), The Chamita Pro"ject."

Mr. Merriell: "~r. Chairman, I should like to make a sug-
gestion. You will remember that the Legislature appropriated
$100,000 for a report on water supplies in Western Colorado
and all of that money has not been spent. I should like to
suggest that the balance of that appropriation which was not
use:! be applied to an aerial survey for the same purpose in
Western Colorado."

Mr. Bailey: "We will consider that, but not right now."

Mr. Woods en of the Corps of Engineers gave a brief explanation
of the Chamita project and stated; "the result of our study
has indicated that it would be more economical and suitable
to build two dams, one at the Abiquiu Site and one at the
Chamita Site."
