to go beyond what he has done in probability.
In order to explain this I would have to go
pretty far into technical language that I
don't know I could do myself without having
a written analysis of the problem here be-
fore us.

"In the second section, Dr. Garnsey, is
there any type of information available from
the Weather Bureau or other sources that you
propose using?"

"Dr. Chamberlain I guess you better try
to answer that."

"There are other sources of information
available from the Weather Bureau. For ex-
ample, Arizona has a complete set of clima-
tological data cards for their state and we
have already set up our plans from other fund-
ing sources to determine exactly what Montana
and Utah have available. We, of course, have
complete access and do receive copies of all
of the Weather Bureau's publications and their
meteorological summaries, climatological sum-
maries, and so on."

to ask whether there were data on stream flow
available from the Weather Bureau sources."

"Perhaps I ought to explain my approach
here. I think that as members of the Board,
we ought not to pay for something that we-can
get some where else without paying money.
What I want to be sure of here is that if
this program is adopted, that we are not.
duplicating efforts that have been made by
other agencies and getting information that
is already related."
