<br />CDM <br /> <br />SWSI Phase 2 Scope of Work <br /> <br />Management" approach and other environmental organizations have proposed a <br />"Conserve, Protect, and Restore" approach. These and other relevant potential <br />methods will be considered. As with the Efficiency and Alternative Agricultural <br />Transfer TRTs, the implementation issues with these altematives will be explored. <br /> <br />. Examples of alternative methods for meeting environmental needs include: <br /> <br />The development of multipurpose sizing of new storage projects to include a <br />pool for environmental instream flow conditions <br /> <br />Re-operation of existing or proposed water supply facilities to enhance <br />environmental benefits without impacting yield <br /> <br />Allowing for periodic high flows <br /> <br />Acquisition of water rights <br /> <br />Additional instream flow water rights <br /> <br />Instream and terrestrial habitat improvements <br /> <br />. Summarize and evaluate altemative methods to prioritize and quantify flow and <br />other alternative solutions to meeting recreational needs. As with the Efficiency and <br />Altemative Agricultural Transfer TRTs, the implementation issues with these <br />altematives will be explored. <br /> <br />. Examples of alternative methods for meeting recreational needs include: <br /> <br />For reservoir options - sizing of pool for recreational activities <br />Voluntary Flow Management Agreements <br />Re-operation to enhance recreational benefits without impacting yield <br />Recreational In Channel Diversions <br />Acquisition of Water Rights <br /> <br />Assumption/Basis of Cost <br />. Level of effort on the technical work to support the Prioritize and Quantify <br />Recreation and Environmental Needs TRT will be directed by the CWCB staff and <br />board. <br /> <br />Summary of Deliver abies <br />.
