WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes,
directs the Colorado Water Conservation Board to designate and
approve storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins and to make
such designations available to legislative bodies of local
jurisdictions1 and

WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed said revised
information and data and does hereby recommend to the Colorado
Water Conservation Board that the Board designate and approve as
floodplain areas those areas inundated by a 100-year flood
(intermediate regional flood) as described by the floodwater
surface elevations and profiles in said new report, and further
recommends that the floodwater surface elevations and profiles
for Clear Creek, Tuckers Gulch, and Kenneys Run within the
corporate limits of the City of Golden, Jefferson County,
Colorado, as approved by Resolution Nos. 155, and 217, adopted
January 30, 1980, and July 7, 1983, respectively, not be
rescinded1 and

WHEREAS, the staff of the Board finds that the hydrolog ic
and hydraulic data in the reports dated November, 19791 January,
19831 and November 15, 1984 to be identical, and the community
may use any of them for the administration of its floodplain
management programs 1

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conser-
vation Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado,
this 15th day of November, 1984, that it does hereby designate
and approve as floodplain areas those areas described as being
inundated by a 1 aD-year flood as described by the floodwater
surface elevations and profiles in said new report, dated
November 15, 19841 and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is
directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the City
of Golden1 the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson
CountY1. the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District1 and the
Federal Emergency Management Agency.
