The POS was developed to <br />systematically evaluate project requirements and tailor the end product to meet these requirements. The <br />process is built on identifYing needs, then collecting information and developing solutions in a series of well- <br />defined steps. The process will utilize valued feedback from the Greeley and Loveland Irrigation (Company) <br />and the CWCB to evaluate progress and reassess results. The schedule is based on the assumption that the <br />contract award will take place on or before June 12, 1998 and the completion date of the draft report on July <br />7,1998. <br /> <br />The feasibility study will address structural and nonstructural solutions for the outlet works rehabilitation. The <br />selected alternative developed during the feasibility study will go into final design and construction. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />STUDY OBJECTIVE <br />The objective of the study is to select a financially sound alternative to rehabilitate Horseshoe Outlet Works, <br />which will enable them to deliver their full water decree in a safe and expeditious manner to meet their <br />shareholders present and future water requirements. <br /> <br />DETAILED WORK TASKS <br />The following POS is based on seven (7) major activities. Each will result in the preparation of one or more <br />deliverables that will be submitted for review and approval in accordance with the attached schedule. The task <br />descriptions are arranged in the order of their performance with the exception of Task 7 Coordination <br />Meetings. It is anticipated that project meetings will be held bi-weekly.
