Unless some of the board feels otherwise, I
would like to have him go through all of the projects and then save the
questions and comments until the end. Is there any objection to that
procedure? Okay, Dave.

MR. CRANDALL: Mr. Chairman, members of the Board, and ladies and
gentlemen, we've been asked to report on the status of the reclamation
programs in this area. We have very recently analyzed in detail our
performance capability on those projects. In this report we'll present
to you these projections. I want to state that they are the projections
of the time required to do this work based on our normal experience in
these matters. We fully recognize the extreme urgency of proceeding with
this work. After we have gone through this presentation, (and I'm sure
it will present concerns), we can then consider how we might best work
together to improve the performance and meet our connnon objectives in
getting the programs done on a timetable that is compatible with the
need and r~flects the opportunity that's before use.

The Grand Junction staff, which has the responsibility for the perfor-
mance of this work, is here. The individual staff members who are
working on the individual work items will repDrt on their particular
endeavors. W~th that, I will ask Project Manager Ed Wiscombe to
int~oduce his people and to start the presentation.

MR. WISCOMBE: ,Thank you, Mr. Crandall. Mr. Chairman, members of the
Board, we have been asked to give a quick briefing on four projects
in this area, the Dallas Creek, Fruitland Mesa, Uncompahgre Improvement
and Dominguez.
