reaches, the staff recommends that the lower point of this
appropriation be changed to the headgate of the Sunnyside
Ditch in the SW/4 of the SW/4, Section 4, Township 9N, Range
87W, 6th Principal Meridian. This reduces the length of
the segment from 7 miles to 5.5 miles. The amount of the
appropriation is unchanged.

W1314-77 - Bear River

The original appropriation was from Stillwater Reservoir to
the confluence with the' Yampa River, a distance of
approximately 2 miles. The amount of the appropriation was
for 5 cfs. The upstream terminus of this appropriation was
identified as the inlet of Stillwater Reservoir and should
have been the outlet of Stillwater Reservoir, changing the
legal description to the SE/4, NW/4, Section 26, Township
1N, Range 85W, 6th Principal Meridian. This modification
has no significant change in the reach length and the amount
of the appropiration is unchanged.

W-1322-77 - Lawson Creek

The original appropriation was from the headwaters to the
confluence with the Yampa River, a distance of approximately
a miles. The appropriation was for 1 cfs. Due to extensive
irrigation practices which dry up the stream, the lower
point of this segment should be changed to the confluence
with unnamed leftbank tributary in SE/4, NW/4, Section 35,
Township 3N, Range 85W, 6th Principal Meridian. This would
reduce the segment from 8 miles to approximately 5.4 miles
in length. The amount of the appropriation is unchanged.

W1331-77 - Elk River

The appropriation is from the confluence with Rock Creek to
the confluence with the Yampa River , a distance of
approximately 23 miles. The original appropriation for 80
cfs should be changed to 65 cEs. The reach length is
unchanged.

W1375-77 - South Fork Soda Creek

The appropriation is from the headwaters to the confluence
with Soda Creek, a distance of approximately 3 miles. The
original appropriation for 2 cfs should be changed to 1
cfs.

W1386-77 - South Fork Little Snake River

The original appropriation was from
boundary to the confluence with the
distance of approximately 9 miles.

the Forest Service
Little Snake River, a
The appropriation was

-2-
