.

Water Division 5

The CWCB filed ISF water right applications with the Division 5 Water Court for the
Leeman Gulch, Antoines Cabin and West Brush Creek ISF Segments in December of
1997. The Antoines Creek ISF segment waS opposed by the LEDE Limited Liability
Company. The CWCB and Attorney General staff continue to work with the LEDE
Limited Liability Company to resolve its concerns. We hope to resolve this case in 1999.

ISF Data has been collected for the Park Creek ISF segment, located upstream of Vega
Reservoir. We had anticipated on moving forward with this recommendation in 1998 but
do to time constraints were not able to do so. CWCB staff will continue to work on the
water availability analysis for this segment in 1999.

DOW is planning on collecting field data on Plateau Creek downstream of Vega
Reservoir sometime in 2000, weather permitting.

Water Division 6

.

ISF Data has been collected for the Yampa River ISF segments, above and below
Stagecoach Reservoir. Based on concerns ra.ised by local interested parties DOW and
CWCB staff agreed to delay moving forward with these recommendations pending
additional data collection below Stagecoach Reservoir. This data has now been collected
and staffwill continue to work with the local interested parties as they move forward
with any instream flow recommendation.

ISF Data has also been collected for the Lester Creek ISF segment, located below Pearl
Lake and Deep and Dutch Creeks located upstream of Steamboat Lake. DOW and
CWCB staff had anticipated moving forward with these three recommendations in 1998
but do to time constraints were not able to do so. The proposed Martin Creek ISF
segment was dry at the time of the DOW field survey and has been removed from ISF
consideration, at this time. CWCB staff will continue to work on the water availability
analysis for these three segments in 1999.

Data collection for all other Division 6 ISF segments, located within the Colorado State
Forest, is scheduled for the fall of 1999, weather permitting.

.

, ....
