If it works out that way we could hold our elec- <br />tion in Mayor June. <br /> <br />Mr. Stapleton: Any further questions from members of the board. any <br />members of the audience? <br /> <br />Mr. Kroeaer: I would like to ask. How many people do you serve now <br />with your pipeline. your rural domestic system? <br /> <br />Mr. Westesen: We have 1.450 taps in service. <br /> <br />Mr. Kroeaer: How much either in acre-feet or second feet of water <br />have you been using this past year? <br /> <br />Mr. Westesen: I could give it to you in monthly volume. We use <br />approximately 7 to 8 million gallons per month. <br /> <br />Mr. Kroeqer: With these 16 second feet that you have committed. then <br />you have a rather substantial expansion area built in at least for <br />ten years. Is that right? <br /> <br />Mr. Westesen: That's right. There is no' problem for the ten years. <br /> <br />Mr. Kroeqer: You mentioned that there is no other <br />for the Ouray-Montrose-Delta area then the Dallas. <br />get their water out of the Uncompahgre now? <br /> <br />source for water <br />Does Montrose <br /> <br />Mr. Westesen: Montrose gets part of their water out of the Cimarron <br />Creek. Also they buy water from the water users association which <br />comes through the Gunnison tunnel. There would be no other source <br />from Montrose on up. <br /> <br />Mr. Moses: Montrose is not presently served by the Tri-County Dis- <br />trict. It has its own water sytem. doesn't it? <br /> <br />Mr. Westesen: <br />water. <br /> <br />At the present time.
