All interest derived from the <br />investment of moneys in the small project loan aW':lUnt FUND shall be <br />credited to the Colorado water conserVation board construction fund. Any <br />balance remaining in the small project loan aGGOUllt FUND at the end of <br />any fiscal year shall remain in the a.:eotlut FUND and shall not revert to the <br />Colorado water conservation board construction fund. <br />(5) (a) There is hereby created in the state treasury as pa1t of the <br />Colorado "atG1 conser vatio,l bo<ud COJlSl1t1CtiOll fund the feasibility study <br />small grant account FUND for the purpose of making small grants to help <br />pay the costs of preparing water project feasibility studies. The Colorado <br />water conservation board shall approve small feasibility study grants <br />based solely on criteria adopted by the board. <br />(b) The state treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to transfer <br />two hundred thousand dollars from the Colorado water conservation board <br />construction fund to the feasibility study small grant aGCOl1,lt FUND. The <br />moneys in the feasibility study small grant aCGOunt FUND are hereby <br />continuously appropriated to the board for grants in compliance with this <br />subsection (5). All interest derived from the investment of moneys in the <br />feasibility study small grant account FUND shall be credited to the <br />Colorado water conservation board construction fund. Any balance <br />remaining in the feasibility study small grant accotlnt FUND at the end of <br />any fiscal year shall remain in the account FUND and shall not revert to the <br />Colorado water conservation board construction fund. <br />SECTION 32. 37-60-122.8, Colorado Revised Statutes, IS <br />amended to read: <br />37-60-122.8.
