<br />In 1995 the Windsor Reservoir and Canal Company retained the services of Smith Geotechnical to evaluate
<br />the current condition of their 25 miles of canal and 6 reservoirs, Smith Geotechnical identified approximately
<br />$3,400,000 in recommended improvements, with a proposed design and construction time frame of 15-years,
<br />The projects identified consisted of the Poudre Valley Canal, Cobb Lake Pipeline and Outlet/Inlet Structures,
<br />Windsor Reservoir No.8, Annex No, 8 and Elder Reservoir Outlet Structure. The Poudre Valley Canal and
<br />the Cobb Lake improvements have been designed and constructed, The construction of Elder Reservoir was
<br />completed October of 200 1, constructed by Zak Dirt, from Longmont, CO, Barker Construction is currently
<br />performing improvements to Annex No, 8 and Windsor No, 8 Reservoirs, which are scheduled to be
<br />completed by December of2002, r

<br />This project involves the rehabilitation of Reservoirs 4,5 and Indian Creek. The Irrigation Company has
<br />retained the services of Smith Geotechnical, out of Fort Collins, Colorado to prepare design plans and
<br />specifications for the proposed improvements. Improvements to Reservoir No.5 were designed and
<br />completed in 1999, Reservoir 4 is currently under design and is tentatively scheduled for construction in the
<br />fall of 2003, The proposed improvements to Indian Creek Reservoir involve a new 500-ft. long spillway,
<br />replacement of the outlet structure, new toe drains, and reshaping the downstream dam face. The proposed
<br />improvements to Reservoir No.4 include, relocation of the spillway to the center of the dam, replacing the
<br />existing outlet structure and Parshall flume, new toe drains, rip rap placement, and reshaping the upstream face
<br />of the dam. The design for Indian Creek Reservoir is complete and construction was awarded to Zak Dirt,
<br />Longmont Colorado, Indian Creek Reservoir is anticipated to be completed by June of2003.

<br />This $270,000 project is the rehabilitation of the Summit Reservoir Dam outlet works and therepair and
<br />improvements to the Summit Reservoir and Irrigation Company's water collection and distribution facilities,
<br />The Cortez office of Natural Resource Conservation Service prepared the construction plans and
<br />specifications, Construction for the Walker Drops improvements commenced in March of 1999, by Noland,
<br />Inc., of Mancos, CO" and was completed in July of 1999, The second to last phase of the project was
<br />completed in October of2001. That final remaining phase of the project is anticipated to be complete by the
<br />fall of 2003,
