We live
on Bill's Ranch with Miner's Creek running behind our home; it has been a beautiful
pristine creek for as long as I can remember--my family has had a cabin on Bill's
Ranch since the 30's. The creek should not be diverted into the Blue River basin as I
believe that to be a mining creek and why spoil Miner's Creek with mine tailings for the
pleasure of Breckenridge's growth and need of water; I guess they'll resort to anything
to get water.

I think of all the things that go away with shrinking of Miner's Creek:

....(\

">...

~

e

the fish spawning in the Fall; the wildlife, the birds and other small animals,
that rely on Miner's Creek as well as the vegetation and the wetlands that occur
because of Miner's Creek. The wonderful Rainbow Lake and Bill's Ranch Lake that A
are fed by the branches of Miner's Creek. People love to hike, cross country ski along .,
Miner's Creek--nothing like the sound of a stream where you live or where you are
walking. We need to save this creek from any diversion.

Why give all this up?

Thanks for reading this letter and hope it will do some good. Again, thanks for
your support and please write and let me know if something comes up with this case.

Sincerely,

O::~. 80G
(j' ~~y & Bob Anderson
P.O.
