<br />.. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE ORDER <br />A1amosa River Watershed Restoration Task Force <br />Page Two <br /> <br />Summitville TAG, Rio Grande National Forest/BLM, the local Natural <br />Resource Conservation SerVice, Rio Grande Water Conservation District. <br />and five community members; and <br /> <br />b. the executive directors or their representatives from the Colorado <br />Department of Natural Resources, the Department of Public Health and <br />Environment, the Department of Local Affairs, the Department of <br />Agriculture, Colorado State University. the U.S. Army Corps of <br />Engineers, the Office of the State Engineer, the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board, The Nature Conservancy, the Regional <br />Administrator ofEPA, and Great Outdoors Colorado. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />The A1amosa River Watershed Restoration Task Force shall, through a <br />professionally facilitated process, complete its report and recommendations to the <br />Governor and the organizations identified in this Executive Order within six <br />months. This shall include the development of an action plan building upon carlicr <br />efforts for the entire rcach of the A1amosa River Watershed that identifies: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />a. the management goals (e.g., agricultural water supply, doinestic wells, <br />flood control, fishing. minimum stream flows, wildlife and recreation); <br />b. the action items necessaty to achieve those goals; <br />c. the assignment of organizational responsibility and timelines for the <br />completion of each of the action items identified; <br />d. the identification of financial and technical resources that might be <br />accessed to complete each of the action items identified and the <br />responsible party for pursuing such funds; and <br />e. the existing and ongoing efforts of the A1amosa River Watershed Project. <br /> <br />4. The A1amosa River Watershed Restoration Task Force shall also make <br />recommendations on the actions necessaty to continue the efforts of this Task <br />Force beyond the expiration of this Executive Order. <br /> <br />5. The actions of the Task Force are not intended to replace or diminish on-going <br />locally led river rcstoration efforts. <br /> <br />. <br />
