<br />(3) The potential of solid debris or waste <br />being carried downstream. <br /> <br />3.1.2.2 Allowed Uses - The following structures and <br />uses are allowed: <br /> <br />(1) Permanent residential, industrial, and <br />commercial structures and uses are <br />allowed provided that: <br /> <br />(i) Any residential or nonresidential <br />building or structure, whether <br />fixed or mobile, designed for human <br />occupancy or the storage of <br />property, shall be constructed, <br />located, or improved so that any <br />external wall is at least fifteen <br />(15) feet from the stream side of <br />the Floodfringe District. <br /> <br />(ii) The lowest floor, including the <br />basement, of any such building or <br />structure shall be at or at above <br />the regulatory flood protection <br />elevation. <br /> <br />(iii) Floodproofing to or above the <br />regulatory flood elevation may be <br />substituted for elevating of <br />commercial, industrial, and <br />residential structures. <br /> <br />(iv) In the event that floodwaters in <br />the Floodfringe District attain a <br />velocity greater than three (3) <br />feet per second (at any point <br />where the proposed development is <br />to occur), additional floodproofing <br />sufficient to withstand such <br />greater water velocity shall be <br />required. <br /> <br />(2) Agricultural uses such as general <br />farming, pasture, grazing, outdoor plant <br />nurseries, horticulture, viticulture, <br />truck farming, forestry, and sod <br />farming. <br /> <br />(3) Private and public recreational uses, <br />such as golf courses, tennis courts, <br />driving ranges, archery ranges, picnic <br />grounds, boat launching ramps, swimming <br />areas, parks, wildlife and nature <br />preserves, trap and skeet ranges, <br /> <br />-10- <br />
