This is a new section. It incorporates meeting procedures adopted by the Coordination
Committee.

Change Number 19:

The Sub-committee recommends the edits to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Responsibilities
section as shown in Attachment 8. Attachment 8 includes the 1995 and proposed 2005 versions
of this chapter along with a redlinc/strike out version of the proposed edits and changes.

Chanqe Number 20:

The Sub-committee recommends a change in title for the Program Coordinator to Program
Director. This change reflects a shift in the Program Coordinator's role and responsibility for
administering the Program. It is the recommendation of the Sub-committee that all of the
administrative functions of the Program become the responsibility of the Program Coordinator.

The Sub-committee recommends that the responsibilities of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service
Responsibilities be refined 10 read as follows:

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is responsible for coordinating the Program. To accomplish
this responsibility, the Service will appoint a Program Director for the Program. The Program
Director is responsible for overall Program coordination and Ihe dissemination of information
about Program activities. Specific responsibilities include the following:

1. coordinating the activities of the Coordination Committee and the Program's technical
committees, including providing notices, agendas. information packets, and draft and
final summaries for committee and subcommittee meetings and conference calls as per
the committee meeting procedures described in this document;
