Identifying streams and lakes that would benefit from a Board held water right <br />. Quantifying the amount of water needed to protect the environment <br />. Filing for new water right appropriations <br />. Acquiring water rights via donation, lease, and purchase to preserve or improve <br />the natural environment <br />. Monitoring the amount of water in streams and lakes to ensure water rights are <br />being met <br />.
