<br />SUMMARY MINUTES AND RECORD OF DECISIONS! <br />May 24-25 1999 Meeting <br />Finalized and Approved July 1999 <br /> <br />Mondav. Mav 24. 1999 <br />Call to Order <br /> <br />10:00 a.ill. <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Colorado Water Conservation Board was held at the <br />DoubleTree Hotel, 501 Camino Del Rio, Durango, Colorado 81301. The <br />meeting was called to order at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 24,1999, by <br />Chairperson Bill Brown. Nine voting members were present at the time of <br />call to order so there was a quorum (at least six required). Board members <br />present on this date were Bill Brown, David Smith, Ray Werner, Bob Burr, <br />Eric Kuhn, Lewis Entz, Donald Schwindt, Harold Miskel, Greg Walcher, <br />State Engineer Hal Simpson, Felicity Hannay (representing the Attorney <br />General), Don Ament (representing the Department of Agriculture), and <br />CWCB Director Peter Evans.2 <br /> <br />Note: While many agenda items were taken out of order due to attendee convenience, these <br />minutes are listed in agenda item order for easier reference. <br /> <br />la. Review and Approval of Agenda <br />Tape I, Start/Stop: 0010 - 0147 <br />Action: There were two additions and two deletions to the agenda that were <br />noticed in the "AddedlDeleted Agenda Item Notice" from May 18, 1999. <br />An additional agenda item deletion was Item 12. A motion was made by <br />Patricia Wells that the agenda be approved as modified. The motion was <br /> <br />lA complete record of the meeting has been made on audio cassette tapes. The tapes and the associated staff memoranda are the only legal record of <br />the meeting. These written sunnnaries are intended only as an aid to research and a guide to the tapes. The motions described herein may not <br />necessarily represent a verbatim transcription. Agenda items are presented in numerical order, according to the Agenda for the meeting. Tape numbers <br />and approximate locations are identified for the beginning and end of each agenda item. <br />These tapes are available for listening at the CWCB during regular office hours. Arrangements to make copies of the tapes or written transcripts of <br />specific agenda items may be produced at the requestor's expense. Notes from the meeting for identification of times and tapes for specific agenda <br />items can also be reviewed at the CWCB offices. <br />2Voting tallies are based on members present for voting. Members recusing themselves are identified.
