Future Water Storage, Delivery, Mitigation and Incentives <br />Track 3 Start/Stop: 50545 - 70915 <br />Action: The Board listened to presentation about the need for new water supply and <br />delivery project by Sen. John Evans, Rep. Diane Hoppe, Rep. Frank Weddig, <br />Arapaho County Commissioner Marie Mckenzie (representing the Colorado <br />Water Partnership), Colorado Forum Chair Gail Clapper, former CWCB <br />member Leo Eisel and Dave Miller. The presentations were followed by <br />discussion and a motion was made by Harold Miskel that staff begin developing <br />elements for a reconnaissance study regarding future water storage, delivery, <br />mitigation and incentives. The motion was seconded by Ray Wright and <br />approved (7-0). <br /> <br />25. Agriculture Water Policy Discussion <br />Track 3 Start/Stop: 70915 - 71545 <br />Action: This item was tabled. A motion was made by Greg Hoskin that staff send a <br />letter to U.S. Rep. Scott McInnis requesting that a Congressional oversight <br />hearing be held to discuss forest management issues. The motion was seconded <br />by Eric Wilkinson and approved (7-0). <br /> <br />Adjourn 5:15 p.m. <br /> <br />Flood Protection. Water Project Planning and Financing.
