That is it. Our plan now, if the Board ap-
proves what we have done, Mr. Moses and ltr. Gil-
dersleeve are leaving for Santa Fe this after-
noon, and I am sure they can handle the few
changes we have made without any qualification."

"\Vhat was the 'climate' when you left after
this meeting?"

"Cool."

"ltr. Chairman, in spite of all that you might
have seen in the papers and everything, I think
it was a very worthwhile meeting. I think their
attitude was reasonable. We tried to make ours
reasonable but I don't know how it is going to
be now when we go back and say we have changed
our minds on some of these things. I'm not
worried about the changes on page six or page
eight but that change on page two is going to
make the fur fly again. But that's our posi-
tion and that's all there is to it."

"Mr. Chairman, I might add one further thing
for clarification. We made no agreement in
Santa Fe. We merely made proposals and counter-
proposals and sort of tentative agreement with
the full right to make changes, go back and
study them and see how they applied. We predi-
cated the entire conversation on the proposition
that nothing we said or offered or proposed was
binding on us and they made the same condition
on their proposals and comments."

"They may have some additional changes that
we don' t know about."

"\Vhat action should we take, if any, nOvl?"

"I think if the Board will indicate their
general approval of what is contained in here,
in this general report....."
