BURR:

"Hasn't the State Game and Fish made
out a statement of their standing on the
Wilderness Bill?"

I

MR. SPARKS:

"They apparently have put something on
record. That's what prompted the Governor
to put the muzzle on all State departments
either for or against this thing until the
information was obtained upon which the
State could adequately express an opinion
with reference to this legislation."

MR. BARNARD, JR.: "As a matter of fact I just saw it
this morning, Larry - their magazine this
month has a statement and they recorded
in the Salt Lake hearing as favoring this
legislation but, of course, those things
occurred before the Governor requested
no State agency do so."

MR. STAPLETON: "Are there any further comments from
the Board or any visitors present? If
not, we will adjourn. We are very happy
to have seen all of you and look forward
to seeing you all the 28th of January."

The meeting was unanimously adjourned at 12:20 P.
