"It has already been stated that this
particular project is part of an overall
project, the Missouri Basin Project and
Colorado has received very little under
that project. I feel that we certainly
would be remiss in our duty if we did not
adopt a very simple resolution, such as
the one submitted by the Northern Colorado
Water Conservancy District, to start this
thing off. I think we are wasting a lot
of time talking about details we cannot
foresee at this time."

MR. CRAWFORD:

"All that resolution says, the one our
attorney was referring to, is that we want
to get more information. I think it would
be a grave mistake not to ask for these
further studies."

MR. MILLER:
MR. CHRISTY:

"I move we table my previous motion."

"I move this Board adopt a resolution
based on that submitted by the Northern
Colorado Water Conservancy District and
transmit same to the Bureau of Reclamation."

MR. STAPLETON:

"I second that motion and ask the secre-
tary to withdraw my amendment to Mr. Miller's
motion."

MR. BARNARD, JR.: "I withdraw my second to the amendment
made by Mr. Stapleton to Mr. Miller's motion."
