CRAWFORD: <br /> <br />"The people who opposed this back in <br />1952 were some of the County Commissioners. <br />I have written to those County 9ommis-. <br />sioners and requested that their views <br />at the present time be made public but <br />have received no replies." <br /> <br />MR. MOSES: <br /> <br />"I would like to call on Mr. Walter <br />and Mr. Knights from the Bureau.of Recla- <br />mation here in Denver." . . <br /> <br />Mr. Walter explained briefly the brochure issued by <br />the Bureau on the Narrows Unit in January of 1958 and said <br />that it was not issued for propaganda, it was sent out to get <br />the public reaction on this project and there was no inten- <br />tion to make any decision on the Narrows Unit. The Bureau <br />of Reclamation has waited for the State of Colorado's decision <br />on the project, he said, and that it would be 1961 before the <br />Bureau could reactivate any study of the Narrows. <br /> <br />MR. MOSES: <br /> <br />"I am very happy to call on an old <br />friend of mine, Millard Huey." <br /> <br />Mr. Millard Huey, South Platte Channel Storage Associa- <br />tion, Fort Morgan, Colorado, briefly introduced th~ members of <br />his party and spoke on their wish to have a study made on the <br />Narrows and other possible channel storage sites on the South <br />Platte. <br /> <br />MR. MOSES: <br /> <br />"Thank you very much Millard.
