shortage for flood control study by the Corps of Engineers on
the Curecanti. Mr. Jerman said that the Corps of Engineers
has always had their own funds, that never has the Bureau
had to contribute; however, the Corps' funds had been cut to
the core and if this work was to go forward, it would take
$10,000. In answer to the question of whether this would
delay the feasibility report, Mr. Jerman stated that some-
where along the line this $10,000 would have to be made avail-
able; that they might even have to come to the Board for help
but not at the present time.

be no funds available for new investiga-
tions in '58 and '59?"

"There will be funds available for '59
but whether there will be sufficient for
any new starts has not been determined." -

"Could the Colorado River Water Conser-
vancy District, the Tri-County Water Con-
servancy District, the Southwestern Water
Conservancy District and the North Fork
Water Conservancy District each have two
copies of Mr. Jerman's report sent to
them?"

"Sometime ago, Mr. Dan Hunter passed
away and I sent flowers from the Board to
his funeral. I should like to collect the
money from the members for the bill from
Knutson's Inc. in the amount of $12.00.
I should like ~o have Mr. Gildersleeve
collect this money."

a motion that the attorney and Director
of the Board be authorized to prepare a
resolution to be spread upon the minutes
and sent to Mrs. Hunter expressing our
regret and sympathy."
