Ms.(;J.OFI= indicated <br /> <br />proposed project entailed improving the distribution system <br /> <br />for treated water within the town. <br /> <br />In response to this, Mr. <br /> <br />McDonald noted that the Board's recently adopted policies, <br /> <br />which were apparently going to be amended lnto the statutes <br /> <br />by the General Assembly, would provide that such projects no <br /> <br />longer be funded from monies from the construction fund. <br /> <br /> <br />McDonald advised Ms.~that the town should review t.l <br /> <br />Mr. <br />.pt;. <br /> <br />proposed project with the staff in the immediate~future in <br />tJ;M- ~ <br />order that __ could advise them on whether or not tliliL~ <br /> <br />project is likely to be eligible for consideration. <br /> <br />Mr. McDonald then provided a brief introduction to the <br /> <br />proposed feasibility studies for the towns of Mead, Grand <br /> <br /> <br />Lake, Erie, and Louisville. He noted ~ while each one of <br /> <br /> <br />them constituted a project which would increase the raw water <br /> <br />storage available for domestic use, ~Rat it was not apparent <br />that the increase in raw water storage would necessarily lead <br />a... <br />to an incr~se in the beneficial consumptive use of water. <br />Since the first of the seven policies which the Board adopted <br /> <br />, <br />at its March meeting speaks specifically to the benefi~l <br /> <br />consumptive uses of water, Mr. McDonald noted that the Board <br />
