<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />EXTENSION OF THE <br />COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT <br />for the <br />RECOVERY IMPLEMENTATION PROGRAM FOR <br />ENDANGERED SPECIES IN THE UPPER COLORADO RIVER BASIN <br /> <br />Puroose: <br /> <br />The parties hereto agree to extend the Cooperative Agreement signed January 21, <br />1988, which provided for the parties to participate in and implement the recovery <br />program as provided for in the document "Recovery Implementation Program for <br />Endangered Fish Species in the Upper Colorado River Basin" (Program), dated <br />September 29, 1987, as heretofore amended. This extension of the Cooperative <br />Agreement shall remain in effect for a period of 10 years from the date of its <br />execution and has been determined by the participating parties to be necessary in <br />order to complete the objective of delisting the four species of native fish under <br />the Federal Endangered Species Act. <br /> <br />Consistencv with Applicable Law: <br /> <br />This Extension ofthe Cooperative Agreement is subject to and is intended to be <br />consistent with all applicable Federal and State laws and interstate compacts.
