While you were securing those lands and waters we wanted to work with you so that we could pick up the loose ends of water rights and lands necessary for recrea- tion with state funds. I am gratified to note that you are still very much aware of that 1962 letter and your people had it in hand in the office yesterday. We will effect the necessary coordination with the Colorado De- partment of Game, Fish and Parks so that we can work together in securing those water rights."
