ADKINS:

members of the Board have any questions on
this part of my report?"

"Are there any questions on the Trinidad
project from any members of the Board?"

"I might add just one thing, Mr. Chairman.
Yesterday representatives from colonel Hotten-
roth's office were in our office in Denver
in connection with this land acquisition.
Back in 1962 I had written to your predecessor,
Colonel Hottenroth, requesting that your
office coordinate closely with us in this
land acquisition because the state must secure
the necessary water rights to maintain the
permanent pool. Do any of our
audience have any questions on the Trinidad
Project?"

"Mr. Chairman."

" l-1r. Adkins."

"This slide that you have shown here
indicates at the lower part of it a relocated
county road. I would like to have some ex-
planation, if you know at this time, of the
particular reason for locating that road at
that place. The reason that I ask this ques-
tion, I believe that road goes almost entirely
through one ownership, the C.F. & I. So we
are wondering the purpose for locating the
road at that place, when you are not serving
