This
program provides for a wide variety of projects for the identification of water supplies related to energy
production.

Program/Project Objectives:

This funding continues support for regional and basin water needs assessments, watershed planning
studies, and acquisition of water data related to compact entitlements. An opportunity exists for the study of
a rural domestic water supply created as a by-product of methane gas extraction near Trinidad. This study
could evolve into other water/energy production related technologies. A total of $245,000 is requested for 4
various watershed planning and energy production related studies from the FYOl Severance Tax Operational
Account funds.

Performance Measures: Timely completion of a technical report in conformance with an approved scope of
work.

5
