This project is the emergency rehabilitation of the Julesburg Irrigation District's Hannony
Ditch #1 diversion structure on the South Platte River 4 miles southwest of Crook. The structure
was damaged by the 1997 South Platte floods and is critical to the operation of the Company's
Julesburg Reservoir. Zoyiopoulos & Associates of Greeley prepared the design plans and the
construction contract was awarded to Concrete Specialties, Inc. of Sterling in early January 1999.
Construction is currently 60% complete. Due to the threat oflow spring runoff, the District decided
to complete 50% of the. diversion dam and 100% of the headgate structure, demobilize the
contractor, and complete the project in the fall. Project completion is therefore scheduled for
October 1999.

This project is an extension of the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District's
Southern Pipeline Project. The pipeline extension will provide high quality western slope water to
the City of Fort Morgan for their municipal use. Montgomery Watson, Inc. of Denver completed
the project design, from the Hudson/Ft. Lupton extension at Platteville, to the Fort Morgan area, in
June. The construction contract was awarded to BRB Contractors, Inc. of Topeka, Kansas and
construction commenced September I, 1998. Construction is approximately 85% complete with
project completion scheduled for late 1999.

DeWeese-Dve Ditch and Reservoir Companv - DeWeese Dve Reservoir Dam Rehabilitation

This project consists of the replacement of the entire upper 12 feet of the DeWeese Dye
dam crest. The new crest section will include reinforcing bar anchors drilled and grouted into the
original dam and a new drainage/seepage control system. GEl Consultants, Inc. of Englewood, CO
completed project design and construction contract documents. The construction contract was
awarded to Blattner and Sons, Construction Co., Inc. of Avon, Minnesota July 19, 1999. _
Construction is scheduled to commence in August with completion scheduled for November 1999. ..,
