Carpenter and seconded by Judge O'Rourke that the Colorado Water Conservation,Board employ additional counsel, with the consent of the Attorney General, to represent the State of Colorado in the present interstate lit~t1Cli1, involving the North Platte River', between the State of NebraSka, Wyoming and: Colorado, with the United States of Amerioa as IntervenorJ that Governor Carr, Attorney General Ireland and Direotor' Stone be further- authorized to make the seleotion~ effeot the employment, and! fix the amount of compensation for such counselJ and that in the event o~ the inability of such board members to aot, Mr. Bailey 8lCt on the committee. It _s moved by Judge 0' Rourke and seconded by Attorney General Ireland that the Director be authorized to expend not to exceed $50 a month for the purpose of acquainting the weople of the State of Colorado with the problems of water conservation and development in the State cf Colorado and such amount be expended, with the advioe and cooperation of Mr. Foster, .. member of 'the Board.
