Carpenter and seconded by Judge O'Rourke <br />that the Colorado Water Conservation,Board employ additional <br />counsel, with the consent of the Attorney General, to represent <br />the State of Colorado in the present interstate lit~t1Cli1, <br />involving the North Platte River', between the State of NebraSka, <br />Wyoming and: Colorado, with the United States of Amerioa as IntervenorJ <br />that Governor Carr, Attorney General Ireland and Direotor' Stone be <br />further- authorized to make the seleotion~ effeot the employment, and! <br />fix the amount of compensation for such counselJ and that in the <br />event o~ the inability of such board members to aot, Mr. Bailey <br />8lCt on the committee. <br /> <br />After discussion the motion Was ltJIlIIlimousl" adcpted. <br /> <br />It _s moved by Judge 0' Rourke and seconded by Attorney <br />General Ireland that the Director be authorized to expend <br />not to exceed $50 a month for the purpose of acquainting the <br />weople of the State of Colorado with the problems of water <br />conservation and development in the State cf Colorado and such <br />amount be expended, with the advioe and cooperation of Mr. Foster, <br />.. member of 'the Board. <br /> <br />After discussion the motion was unanimously adopted.. <br /> <br />
