<br />- 2- <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />tit <br /> <br />If approved by the Board, the Scopes of Work (with any revisions suggested by the Board) <br />will be incorporated into a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the two separate projects to be <br />distributed in mid-September. Consultant propo~als would be scheduled for receipt around <br />November 1. The Board must recommend a non-reitnbursab1e investment to cover the cost of both <br />studies at the November Board meeting based on consultant cost proposals. The CRRP will be <br />presented to the Legislature for authorization in a stand-alone bill. The SWSI will be included in the <br />Construction Fund Project Bill. <br /> <br />The Board (or study Committee) will participate in the consultant selection process in early <br />2003 with study commencement scheduled for early to mid-2003 following legislative authorization <br />and contract execution. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the Board approve the attached Scopes of Work for the Statewide <br />Water Supply Investigation and the Colorado Ri~er Return Project and authorize the staff to <br />distribute Request for Proposals as soon as possible. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Flood Protection.
