A summary of proposed expenditures by <br />the Board in five programs during FY 1997 through FY 2000 is shown in the following table. The MEGA Board also reviews the Executive Director's recommendation before it is <br />included in the state's annual "Long Bill." The MEGA Board has recommended that use of the <br />Severance Tax Trust Fund for water project construction and water planning "give preference to <br />energy impacted areas." <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />The attached table lists the originally proposed projects within each program for each fiscal year <br />from FY 1997 through FY 2000. The table compares the allocated funds for each project with the <br />revised budget and the amount spent to date. <br /> <br />The staff is preparing the contract for the Jefferson County Mountain Groundwater Resources <br />Study ($50,000) and our attorney would like the Board to ratify its earlier decision to make this <br />change. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />2 <br />
