RESOLUTION OF COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD

March 28, 1945

WilEREAS, the Bureau of Reclamation, United States Depar-tment of
Interior, haa submitted its report, dated November, 1944 and entitled,
itA COlIlpreheneive Report on the Control, Improvement-and utilhation of
i the Water Resouroes of the Colorado River Basin in Arizona, California,
Colorado, Nevada, New Mexioo, Utah and wyoming," 'in tentative and inoom-
plete form to the above named states for ,their comments, criticisms and
sugge sti ons;

AND, WHEREAS, the above entitled report has been oarefully stud-
ied and reviewed 'by the Colorado Water Coneervation Board, with the aid
and assistanoe of its engineering staff, .after disou8sione with, and oon-
sideration of comments of, representatives from various interested local-
ities and areas of the State of Colorado whioh would be affeoted by any
plan of development of the Colorado River Basin;

AND, WHEREAS, it- is understood that the' Bureau of Reolamation,
after a revision of its report, nill resubmit it to the states for fur-
ther study and opportunity for submission of their several suggestione
and objeotions, if any they may have, pureuant to Public La" 534,
Chapter 665, 78th Congress, 2nd Session;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conservation
Board this 28th day of Maroh, A.D. 1945 that the attaohed etatement, em-
bodying comments, criticisms and suggeetions reepeoting the above men-
tioned report be submitted for and on behalf of the State of Colorado to
the Bureau of Reclamation, United States 1lepartnient of Interior; and that
the Bureau be reepectfully asked to coneider suoh statellient lll1d revise its
report in cOlllplianoe with the comments and suggestions therein oontained.
