Mr. Crawford summarized the contract.

l!r. Dutcher; It says the engineer agrees to complete the study,
does that mean the entire Western Slope study will be completed?

Mr. Crawford: Yes, it does; the study will include the data we
get from the University of Colorado and all information received
from State and Federal agencies.

Mr. Dutcher: Did the engineering committee of the Conference
Committee approve of thts contract also?

Mr. Crawford: No, that committee has no authority in this matter.

Mr. Roberts: .Could we have 1~. Hill summarize some of his
major works?

Successors to firm of Quinton, Code and Hill and firm of Leeds and
Barnard; both organized in 1912.

All members of the firm are members, American Society of Civil
Engineers, and both Leeds and Hill have been National Directors of
this Society.

Leeds graduated from U. S. Mrlitary Academy and from Massachusetts
Institute of Technology.

Hill graduated from University of Michigan.

Jewett graduated from University of Colorado.

been largely in the fields of water supply, irrigation and reclama-
tion, flood control:, and harbors. The work of the firm ha.s been
generally in the southwestern portion of the United States, but:has
included projects in other parts of this country and a number of
foreign countrie~.
