Colorado is a <br />signatory to this three state interstate stream compact. If the Supreme Court allows the lawsuit to <br />proceed, Colorado needs to have better data on water use in the basin. The Division of Water <br />Resources expects that the Supreme Court will decide whether to accept the request by Kansas <br />sometime this fall or winter. . <br /> <br />The Republican River basin in Colorado is located in the northeast part of the state and <br /> <br />2 <br />
