"We have our report scheduled, which we
would call a definite plan report for the
reservoir, for 1965 and I suppose within a
year after that we could be getting it author-
ized and asking for money. Whether it will
meet that schedule or not depends. It might
take a little longer if the decision is Weld
County. Of course, we have a lot more data on
the Narrows site."

"Mr. Chairman, I'd like to ask Mr. Greer
if the money that was set up originally in the
budget for the afterbay at the Green Mountain
is still there?"

"Yes. That is planning money and the
reason I said we didn't know whether we could
start it until October or not, was simply be-
cause of the Congressional appropriations but
we found a way that we could start it and we
have already started. I think our survey
parties will be up there Monday."

"Mr. Chairman, I'd like to ask this addi-
tional question. I don't know whether Gus
should answer it or not, or could. My question
is whether any additional funds from this Board
would speed up the South Platte studies?"

"Not at the moment, Dave, but with a year's
time I think that could very well be true. We
actually have some carryover of your money this
year. We've used all our own, however."

"Mr. Gildersleeve, when do you expect to
have the next meeting of the Steering Committee
on that project?"

"There has not been a meeting definitely
scheduled but Mr. Greer and I have talked about
it and we feel that it will be in September
sometime. "
