<br />(, <br />'367 <br /> <br />"1 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Be It Further Resolved that subject to the inclusion <br />of the above apportionment in any such legislation, the <br />State of Colorado approves the proposals of the Upper <br />Colorado River Commission that such legislation provide <br />that all revenues of the Central Utah Project be applied <br />to the payment of the operation, maintenance and cost of <br />construction (including interest charges) of said project; <br />and that as to Indian lands within, under or served by any <br />particiPating project, notwithstanding any provision of <br />existing law, payment of construction costs within the <br />capability of the land to repay shall be deferred so long <br />as the Indian title thereto remains unextinguished, and <br />all construction costs beyond the capability of the land <br />to repay shall be non-reimburseable. <br /> <br />MR. MILLER: <br /> <br />"I move the adoption of this Resolution as <br />amended." <br /> <br />The motion was seconded by Mr. Dickson and on vote <br />being taken, was carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Chilson reported on the Supreme Court's ruling in <br />the Arizona vs. California case. <br /> <br />Mr. Chilson referred to a bill introduced by Senator <br />Barrett of Wyoming, S. 863, and suggested that the Board <br />give some thought to endorsing and giving support to <br />Senator Barrett' sbill. <br /> <br />After'discussion, the following motion was made by <br />Mr. Miller. <br /> <br />MR. MILLER: <br /> <br />"I move, that'wedci endorse the principal <br />and I would be willing to help all I could <br />in'making it specific by a simple resolution. <br />Mr. Chilson could draw the resolution to be <br />supplemented by such specific provisions as <br />could be presented later." <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The motion was seconded by Mr. Dickson and on vote being <br />taken, was carried unanimously., The resolution is as <br />follows: <br />
