Beque Pro j ect <br /> <br />Personnel of the Grand Junction area office have <br />attended a series of some 13 meetings in the area at the <br />request of the local interests to explain the result of <br />investigations as covered in the reconnaissance report. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Small Pro j ect s <br /> <br />Three meetings have been held between Region 4 <br />representatives and water users interested in the small <br />projects program. <br /> <br />At the Baggs Meeting on February 7, prevously <br />mentioned in connection with the Savery-Pot Hook project, <br />the aspects of a small project for the Savery-Wyoming unit <br />were explained. No action toward development under the <br />small projects act was taken. <br /> <br />On February 8, a meeting was held in Glenwood <br />Springs by a group of Woody Creek water users who were in- <br />terested in the small projects program and representatives <br />from the Bureau of Reclamation. We have received no in- <br />formation relative to the possibilities of the local users <br />going forward since this meeting. <br /> <br />The third meeting was held at Meeker on March 22. <br />Here, the small projects program was discussed with the Rio <br />Blanco County Soil Conservation District. Since this meet- <br />ing we have received no further indication of the District's <br />interest in the program. <br /> <br />Recently we were advised that the Orchard City <br />Irrigation District is considering applying for a loan under <br />the Act. <br /> <br />Water Supply Outlook - Federal Reclamation Projects <br /> <br /> Estimated <br /> Ac.
